Webmistress is a small but highly regarded web design studio, offering direct contact between you and the creative and technical people who will work on your project. Webmistress has built a reputation around creating contemporary, fresh, vibrant designs using the best industry techniques and web standards.
We have been designing and creating websites for over eight years and all our work is completed to the highest quality standards. Our sites are semantically coded in XHTML Strict, use CSS for visual display, and satisfy Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as well as HREOC guidelines. Our websites are fully accessible to all browsers, devices, screen readers and other assistive technologies and look attractive on all modern browsers at different monitor sizes and resolutions. Our websites are optimised for search engines. We provide separate styles to make the site easy to read when printed on paper. Our pages download quickly so people with a dialup connection to the Internet are not disadvantaged.
Our team stays in touch with the latest thinking on web design and development standards and keeps our knowledge at world standard level by attending conferences with the leaders of the industry in design, accessibility, user experience design and coding.
