Update your website yourself...
The Webmistress Content Management System (CMS) is a very easy to use system that allows you to easily and quickly update and edit your web pages as well as the files, images and links within your website.
- We set up everything for you on our server in Sydney.
- We create the graphic design templates and populate your site with content (or create your pages with placeholder content if desired).
- We then provide you with a username and password which allow you to login and update the content of your webpages whenever you wish using simple forms.
- We organise a meeting at which we demonstrate tasks you may like to do (such as edit a page, add a new page, add an image, upload a PDF).
It only takes about half an hour for most people to learn to use our content management system. If you know the basics of Word and how to get around the web then you won't find it hard.
These are some of the things you can do yourself:
- on any page change text, links and place images
- create any number of pages
- delete pages
- clone pages (copy one you've already made then change the content)
- easily back up and archive content
- upload files (such as PDFs, Word documents) and make them available for your visitors to download
Extra modules can be added if desired allowing you to:
- add photos to a photo album (if your site has a gallery)
- update your shopping cart (if your site has one)
- lots more, including calendars, booking systems, newsletter mailing lists...
If your website has a special requirement, custom code can be written just for your site and can work alongside the already existing CMS features.
A note on quality

Our websites are optimised for search engines. We provide separate styles to make the site easy to read when printed on paper. Our pages download quickly so people with a dialup connection to the Internet are not disadvantaged.
